What is the difference between a right and a responsibility?  What are some of your rights and your responsibilities?  Do you think the Jews rights were respected? Why or Why not?  Do you think the SS officers had a choice to do what they did or was it their responsibility?  Explain.

Right is what is right and good and not wrong. Responsibility is what you are supposed and have to do. I do not think the Jews rights were respected. Millions of them died. And they are regular people so they shouldve been treated the same way. The SS officers I dont think had a choice because Hitler was in charge and if they disobeyed they would've gotten killed or mistreated too.

A right is something you are entitled to as a person. A responsibility is something you are entitled to DO. I have rights as a citizen of the United States of America such as the right to voice my opinion and the right to be whatever religion I wish. I have responsibilities too. Such as getting my homework done. I do not think that the Jews' rights were respected because they were forced to do things they didn't want to and weren't given any say in it. They were kept in horrible conditions and denied food and water. The SS officers had the choice to join the SS. After that, I think it was their responsibility as and SS officer that forced them to do the horrible things they did.

I agree with Mike when he says that everone is give rights as a person and that responisbility is something that you are suppost to do. Some of our rights, as citezens of the United States, are freedom of spech; freedom of religion. We also have the right to "pursue life, liberty, and the pursute of happiness." I think the Jews' rights were stripped away from them compleatly. It might have happened slowly, but in the end they were gone. They were put in death camps and wee humiliated in public. I think the SS officers had a choic, it might not have been a plesent choic, but hey had one. Even if the choice was for their life, they had one. I think some of the SS officers thought it was their responibilty to do what Hitler wanted them to do even if they knew it wasn't right. They thought it was their duty to protect the German race because they were being manipulated trough German propogandas. So in a way they thought that it was their responisbility to protect the life they know.

A r ight is something you are entitled to. A responsibility is something that you are expected to uphold. The rights of the Jews were not respected because they were considered inferior by the Nazis. I think the SS officers had a choice whether or not to join the Nazi regime. If they didn't join they would probably be considered an enemy and slaughtered like the Jews.

The difference between a right and responsibility is a right is something that is given to you by a person of authority, and a responsibility is something that you do without being told and you just always do. the Jewish people rights were not respected by the Germans. The SS officers did have a choice and it wasn't their responsiblility but the other option for them was to be killed themselves.

A right is something that is given to you by someone higher than you, like the gov. A responsibility is a personal duty that you must do. Some of the rights that I have are: right to free speech, right to an attorney, etc. Some of the responsibiliteis that I have are mowing the lawn, taking care of myself, the animals, and cleaning my room. The Jews rights were never respected because the Nazi's treated the Jews like animals and animals have no rights. They are just things. I think the SS officers chose to do the things that they were ordered to do because they hated the Jews.

Right is something you have the right to, or in other words what you are allowed to do. Responsibility is what you think you should or should not do. I do not think the jewish rights were respected because it was unfair and cruel it was neither it was just plain wrong

A right is something you are entitled to, such as food or drink. A resposability is something you have to do or it can affect many people in bad ways. If you fail to do your resposabilities, it typicaly has dire consequences. Some of our rights here, in America, are the freedom of speech and the freedom of religion. The Jews freedom of religion was not respected, as were many of their other rights. They weren't allowed to practice their religion. It was a responsipility of the SS to kill and capture the Jews. If they didn't, they themselves would be persecuted and killed. This is why it is a responsability, not a right.

A right is something that you are allowed or able to use if you so choose. You do not have to use a right, and there are many rights that every person has or deserves. A responsibility is something that you should do, and it is something that you are socially or ethically supposed to do. Many rights that I have include those mentioned in the bill of rights, such as freedom of speech and freedom of religon. I also have rights such as a right to eat tacos, (YAY:) the right to sleep, the right to go to school, and the right to watch tv without the goverment throwing propoganda at me every three seconds. (its every four) I also have many responsibly responisble responsiblities that I do, such as the responsiblity to take out the trash every monday, to help my crippled brother Hobbles, (Jake), to get good grades in school, and to take my pill every weekday.(It doesn't always work out) I do not think that the Jews were respected at all. They were starved to death in the Ghettos, forced to worked and tortured in the concentration camps, and finally gassed in the so called "showers". They had many of the rights they deserved taken away from them. I wouldn't call that respect. I think that it was the SS soldiers responsibility to do their job for their families sake, for if they didn't, they would end up in concentration camps too, and nobody knows better than SS soldiers other than the Jews themselves how bad the concentrations camps are.

A right is something that you can do without the government saying otherwise. A responsibility is something that you can do but it may be dangerous or illegal. One of our rights is the right to bear arms. One of our responsibilities is to vote. The Jews were not respected because Hitler used propaganda to get the country to believe that Jews were evil. The SS had a choice but they would have gotten in trouble if they were caught.

The difference between a right and a responsibility. A right is a thing that you should never have to question and should always be given to you no matter how different you are. A responsibility is something that you are given to hold on to make sure it is done on time and done the right way. An example is a right is to a seat like Rosa Parks and a responsibility is like bringing something for a class project that you told people you would bring. I don't think the Jews rights were respected because they were normal people but were picked out just because of their religion. I kind of think the SS officers had a choice and that their choice was selfish they chose to kill many people in one day instead of just one person because they didn't follow their instructions so they would die.

A right is something that all people are entitled to, no matter who they are. A responsibility is something that you are supposed to do, but is still your choice as to whether you do it or not. Some of our rights include life, liberty, and the persute of happiness, while some resposibilities include taking out the trash or going to school. The rights of the Jews during the Holocaust were not respected. They were imprisoned and tortured, and many died. Many SS officers had no choice but to do what they did, because if they defied Hitler, they would have been executed or worse.

A right is something that every person is able to do. For example everyone has a right to voice their own opinion, choose their own religion, or have a firearm inside their house. Everyone is entitled to these things. A responsibility is a choice you must make for something that you are asked to do or know is right. My responsibilities as a person are to get my homework done and study for school. Sure, I could choose not to, but I choose to so I can get into a good college. The Jews were denied of their rights and not respected because they were forced to go to concentration camps and they had no say in the matter. The people that chose to be SS officers did it because it was their responsibility. Hitler's propaganda tricked them into thinking that protecting Hitler was the right thing to do.

The S.S officers had no choice. They had to follow Hitler no matter what due to being part of hitlers military. If they would have not followed a order they were given they would be punished severly or even get killed due to hitler having a strict army.
